G&G Combat Machine
« on: July 22, 2009, 04:39:24 PM »
I have a G&G Combat Machine and I have a little problem with it. The magwell is very loose. All my mags wobble so much in it. I tried putting a little electrical tape around the mags but that didn't seem to help at all. I tried putting electrical tape inside the magwell but that also didn't help. The 450 round highcap that came with gun wobbles but it feeds. All my midcaps don't feed because they wobble so much. Is there anything else that I can do to help the wobble?

Is it front to back, or lateral play?

Did you check the magazine catch?

For now, just use the mags that feed in it.

Even my CA gun has a bit of play in the magwell with TM mags, which I hold as the standard for AEG mags.  As long as it feeds, I don't worry about it too much.

With the highcap that came with the gun, it wobbles front to back only. The PMag wobbles front to back and side to side and so does the MAG brand mag. I'm going to shoot it tomorrow to see if any of the mags feed. I know the highcap feeds but when I chronoed the gun, the pmag and mag brand mag wouldn't feed.

Old thread, but I also have a G&G and use PMags. I haven't gotten around to taping mine, so I just push the mag forward a bit and it feeds fine for awhile. You have to keep doing it though, like winding a high cap.
