AEP upgrades

Hi all,
I have a WELL R2 Skorpion, it shoots at around 270(+-5), and i'm trying to push it closer to the magic CQB 330 mark, do AEP's take the same kind of upgrades that a full sized AEG takes? e.g., a new spring? Or do i have I have to find a special spring length that only AEP's take.

almost all special parts. and most AEPs dont reach that kind of fps, even upgraded. I know 300 is about max for a upgraded tm mp7. i could be wrong though.
