I'm an Aviation guy.

When I joined this forum, I could count on one hand how many members were in the military.

I'm really impressed by how much we've grown over the years.

Good, then I won't be as worried when Woody breaks his head open anymore as long as you're on the field.

I know this is a necro-post but, I figured it was a good topic that I'd be honored to be a part of.

I served in the US Coast Guard doing Law Enforcement and Security gigs while being stationed in San Diego on board the 378 HEC 715 USCGC Hamilton.  So, in a weird, five man team sort of a way, I'm pretty good with the CQB type scenarios but anything else... no, not at all!

Oh, and Firehead, awesome Basic Training topic you posted up, helped a complete goob like me learn pretty quickly so I can now play with my Army ROTC friends.  It was pretty funny, both them and Dan were like "what? Five man team!?" lol good times.  Anyone of you guys come up to Flagstaff, hit me up and I'll buy you a round, we got plenty of places up here.

And Joe, dude, love your sig!  Had to show that to a MCROTC friend of mine that's down in SDSU.

I'm currently serving with the 3rd ID out of Ft. Stewart. Joined in Aug as a 19D Cav scout, and am currently one of two support gunners for the commander of our company.

Hopefully, the remaining years wont be to bad.

We stole the Eagle from the Air Force, the Anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, we overran his perimeter and stole the Globe, and we\'ve been running the show ever since.

I spent 8 1/2 years in the Army Infantry 11b, made it to SSG squad leader.
1-6 INF Baumholder germany.
1-8 INF fort carson.
1-68 CAB fort carson.

I did one tour in Kosovo / Macedonia.
3 tours in Iraq, 2003/2006/2008.

I think I did my part, and got some revenge for 9/11 but I cannot type.  Nor do I have a decent handle on the English language.

I depend on a solid E5 for all of my grammar corrections.  Thank you, azsarge, for unfucking me.

I am pretty sure that I still depend on my mother to iron and fold my skivvies.

Army Strong!
