Save your parents money... It's a crosman.

Heres a link to it... you can buy it at a book store.

Found it with google. Who knew?

i saw a review on it i heard it has plastic gears inside it and they grind together and ruin the gun is there anyway you can replace the internals with metal?

IT'S NOT WORTH PUTTING YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND EFFORT INTO.

That being said, if you would like other recommendations for a good gun in a certain pricerange, just let us know what that pricerange is and what you want the gun to do, as well as any preference for looks.

i traded some kid one of my old half broken guns for an r76, its not as bad as everyones making it sound..

but then again, i didnt spend 100$ on it, if i did i would have been very disappointed.

uh.. and the stock 8volt is terrible, if you ever do use that gun, you need a 9 volt to make it worth your time

as previously stated, definitively not worth the money compared to what else is on the market..

I respectfully disagree. I think you traded a perfectly repairable gun for a non repairable gun that WILL strip gears because they are plastic and your running 9 volts though it.

Do NOT buy this gun. Not even if its on sale for 0.50$. I would rather put my two quarters in a candy machine and have a delicious treat.
