AIrsoft sniper FPS limit-GI G700

I just bought the GI G700 sniper.   It shoots about 580 out of the box and i was wondering if this is to hard for most games.   Obviously I wouldnt shoot within about a 75-85' space but if this is to hard i will need to down grade the spring.

Yes, that's above most field limits.

Fighter Town's limit is 500 fps for bolt action rifles.

With .2s?    Almost every sniper available now is above 500 stock

Yeah, with .2s. And actually alot of them are either under or right around 500 fps. Just downgrade it with a new spring.

I wouldn't know. Take it down to gearbox, they'll take care of it.

Ya thats probably what ill have to do to be 100% it can be used.    I wont downgrade till im done with next weeks OP Bad Company next week.    Bolt action is 610fps limit with .2's

Most "large" games have the limit of 500 w/.20 but there are some other "large" games that allow higher limits much like the OP bad company being hosted by team phantom. I keep my sniper set for the higher limit games and if I feel like I want to attend a lower limit game then I'll just drop in a lower spring. Its super quick and not a big hassle in any way. I've even thought of buying another piston set so I can literally just switch out the bolt and then just adjust the hop up. But its pricy.

You only need ordinary tools, a vsr take down guide, and some very minor ingenuity. Its easy as can be.

I've changed the spring 100 times in my Laylax L96 its super easy to do. I went the route theGovernator did I have 2 cylinders that I just drop in and out when playing at different games. One teflon cylinder that shoots 486fps with .38 and one regular cylinder that shoots 490fps with .20s.
