TM M4A1 S-System

The Tokyo Marui M4A1 System (comes exactly as shown below)


This is a great weapon.  Although being kind of pricey on most websites, this is worth it.  I purchased mine about 3 months ago, and the modding possibilities are endless.  It comes with three rails and screws for each to attach to the forearm, and the upper rail runs the entire length of the upper receiver. Most of the cons weren't that big of a deal, but annoying at the least.

As for the internals, they are Tokyo Marui, and the EG1000 is impressive in my eyes.  Much, MUCH better than any other Echo 1 or Jing Gong. If you opened up the gearbox of a TM and set it next to an Echo 1 gearbox, the quality difference is immense.

As for the externals..

Pros
6 position buffer tube compatible with real-steel collapsible stocks
Upper rail Runs entire length of upper reciever
Forearm rails included
Several metal parts
Flip-up front and rear sites included
The plastic parts feel high quality

Cons
Buffer tube and buffer screw are 1 piece (I wasted money on a buffer plate and wrench before I found this out, damnit.)
Doesn't come with a foward sling swivel/adapter
Both lower and upper receivers are plastic (all TM M4/M16 series are like this)
Pistol grip is already loose (probably just my gun)

All TM's are made of ABS plastic and only some parts are metal (ex. R.A.S, outer and inner barrel).

i own an S-System. It's truly a great rifle. many different ways to modify it and many different platforms to use.

the only problem i've had is my hop up knob.. ya, it just fell out. so i don't have a hop up...

but it shoots straight and hard. thats all i care about.

Yeah these guns are great i own a jg m4 s system which is a clone of your tokyo marui other than that i am very satisfied with this gun.

I have a S-system from A&K as well, the rifle is super. So many possibilities with it. I've had it for two years, not one problem with it.

hey, how's the range on that thing? im looking into getting a tm s system soon.

Sorry for the long response, but to tell you the truth I really can't remember how far it was accurately shooting. I sold it a while ago.

Mine had fairly average  range, then I went to a 120 spring and now I hurt 'em way out there.
It really is a nice rifle. TM, being in Japan, apparently isn't allowed to make steel recievers, so I hear.
