CA MP5SD3 Upgrade plan-a few concerns
« on: January 27, 2004, 09:56:24 PM »
How effective are silent piston head sets-meaning, is it meant for a m120 spring upgrade? I understand that aluminum piston heads can actually increase the stress put on the internals of an AEG using a M120 or higher spring-I don't want a silent piston head doing the same. I also don't want the piston head itself to get damaged.

Here are my planned specs:

Low resistance wires
Metal shims
Systema metal bushings
Systema nozzle for MP5
Systema spring guide with bearing
Systema New Bore Up cylinder set
Systema tappet plate
Systema m120 spring
Systema polycarbonate piston
Systema silent piston head set
Reversal stop latch
Systema tight bore inner barrel
Systema selector plate

I want to be able to fire frequent bursts or full auto without the risk of stripping gears, being as quiet as possible, dishing out shot power 350 fps or above, without hitting or going over the 400 fps barrier. Is there anything in that spec set up that I don't need? Anything else that I will need? This will be my first upgrade plan, and I want it all to go really smooth.
