The area is now owned by the water company and they have closed the gates. It will most likely be a month or so before we can find a new spot

So now BOTH fields are inaccessible? Maximum suckage. Was this a recent acquisition? It seems to me like the canal entrance as well as the road paralleling the canal should have already been owned by those who own the canal  :-k

In the mean time, we sure do appreciate the work you guys are doing in finding a new AO. Maybe do a little exploring to the north or east closer to the I 17 off the 101?

Yes I was actually thinking of looking for something closer so that the East Valley people would not have to make the long drive.
