Operation: Zombie Hunter June 25 at VIP (5 pm - 10 pm)

Marauders Airsoft is hosting our next zombie adventure, Operation: Zombie Hunter, at Vanguard Indoor Playground on Saturday, June 25, from 5 pm - 10 am.  Join one of two teams, military special operations or civilian zombie hunters, to clear out several neighborhoods of the undead while searching for survivors.

Civilian Zombie Hunters (10 spaces)
Players 12 and up (adults and minors mixed)
Equipment: civilian clothes, spring pistols, shotguns, and nerf weapons, (NO AEG or GBB pistols)

US Military Special Operations (6 spaces)
Players 16 and up
Equipment: ACU, Multicam, 3 Color DCU, Helmet, Plate Carrier/Tactical Vest, AEG < 330 FPS, non-winding magazines

There will be multiple types of zombies role played by MTT staff and volunteers at the game.

Equipment Requirements
Sealed Eye Protection with Face Mask or Face Protection
Appropriate Team Uniform and Equipment
Airsoft Weapons under 330 FPS with .25 bb's

Admission
MA and MTT Annual Pass Owners $30
General Public Prepaid $50

Admission includes 1000 bb's and a meal voucher (pizza and drink) at the event. Players will also receive a raffle ticket.

There have been some major changes to the format of the next MTT zombie adventure at Vanguard on June 25th.  Please review the information carefully and contact MTTStaff@gmail.com with your questions.

Change 1
OP Zombie Hunter will be played from 6 pm - 10 pm.  Registration opens at 5 pm and the safety/game briefing will be conducted at 5:30 pm.  Zombie Hunter missions will last 15 minutes followed by a 20 minute break.  The MTT event will alternate use of the VIP field with players from the general public.

OP Zombie Hunter will be limited to 16 players (10 civilian zombie hunters, and 6 Special Operations personnel).  The smaller team allows our staff to start and end games more quickly.  The reduced numbers also allow for a more intense and action filled experience for each player.  This system worked extremely well for Terminator: Prophecies and will be utilized more often by MTT at Vanguard.  The advantages of this new system will allow VIP to stay open for the public, better hours for the private game (no more getting home at 4 am), and a more exciting game for both combatants and role players.

Game tickets will not be sold for OP Zombie Hunter.  Participants will still need to register at Vanguard, Gearbox Airsoft, or Command Post.  The game ticket system will still be used for events with 20 or more spaces available.

For the Spec Ops team, is a matching patrol cap ok rather than an actual helmet, or is an actual helmet absolutely required?

MTT is looking for a few zombie volunteers for OP Zombie Hunter.

Volunteers will receive a free admission to the game and a free admission to a future event.

Volunteers will need civilian clothes, gloves and some type of chest protection.  MTT will provide a zombie mask for the game.

PSC would like to thank MTT and there volunteers for putting on such a great time. We all had a blast. This game got a 10 out of 10.  Everyone played fair and made the game fun for the zombies and zombie hunters

We would also like to thank the wheelchair zombie for such good laughs it was defiantly funny seeing him wheal around in that chair.

Great game tonight! Zombie role players did an EXCELLENT job. Everyone played fair and the games were real intense. Can't wait for the next one.

Oh, and that giant pile of dead zombies and Spec Ops during game 2 was epic, I fought till the bitter end! Favorite moment by far.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Operation: Zombie Hunter at Vanguard Indoor Playground yesterday.  The new formats for both the zombie and Terminator series are working out great for both the players and volunteers.  Our staff is in the process of planning a new series of adventures using this format for the fall at VIP.

The next adventure scheduled is Terminator: End Times on July 30, 2011 from 5 pm - 10 pm at VIP.  Again, there will only be a limited number of admissions (16) for the adventure.  Don't miss the chance to test your survival skills against zombies and Terminators.
