Hey all.
« on: August 12, 2011, 08:29:35 PM »
I'm an undergrad at ASU doing my final year in EE this coming fall. I'm very new to pro airsoft, but I am very interested. I have been to paint ball during my stay here, and along the way I discovered pro airsoft. I find airsoft activities harder to access in phoenix area compared to paint ball. Non of my friends or coursemates play airsofts. What I like more about airsoft is that you get to collect real looking replicas and use them in a sport. I currently own a KJW m1911t and CYMA mod5, but their fps are over VIPairsoft's limit. Since this is my final year I would like to get involved in some memorable arizona airsoft games before I graduate and move. Hope I can find some ASU students in here.

Welcome to Airsoft Arizona.
Older but still an full time ASU student myself. I can help point you in the right direction. If you have no issues traveling out of town, not TOO far, you can experience playing how most of the more experienced players do it. Sadly to many guys, especially the younger beginning players, do not have the means or desire to play outside of town. That's usually where the really good games happen.

Welcome! Keep an eye out for other games in Queen Creek (FUJI) or at the other outdoor fields.

Never mind my medicine breath,Come hither for a kiss of Death...

If you can make it out, the Team Phantom game later on this month is a perfect example of what we're talking about. It's set in the great outdoors, far away from prying eyes, and of course it will be fun.

I'd love to get some info on this if it's an open invite.

Thanks for your replies. I've been reading lists of upcoming games and checking the team that hosts them, really intriguing stuff. I do have means of travelling outside of Tempe, though I need some directions to mil sims that are more suitable for beginners like me. Also get myself suited up.

Queen Creek field is a reasonable distance for me to get to. I am guessing the field is near 202 and Elliot? I have something going on the day of OP Bad Company Part 2, but I will keep checking this forum for upcoming events. Thanks.
