The 'awesomeness' of a field gun is based upon your preference. Are you going for a sniper? Or more of a mid ranged AEG? or a close ranged shotgun?

If you are going for a long ranged M4/sniper type, i would recommend the Echo 1 ER-25k. it is a replica of the SR-25 sniper rifle. It is roughly 410 FPS and an effective range of about 100 feet. it weighs a ton though. It weighs by itself about 15 lbs, let alone attachments and ammo.

efective range of 100' isnt very good. especialy if its shooting over 400fps. a properly tuned gun at 400fps should be dialed in at 200'. my step dad with his ksc 1911 is acurate at 100'.
if a sr25 clone dmr is only getting 100' efectiveness at over 400fps is a gun i wouldnt buy.
hell my stock marui ak beta is acurate at over a 100'.

as far as the ak you want goes its a decent gun but your gonna have to down grade it for most of the games in az. most games require that you be below 400fps for games. and my personal preference is to stear away from ebb rifles. its just more parts to break later and it doesnt add anything to the performance of the gun. pick what you like because with a lil money, time and effort you can make allmost any airsoft gun perform like any other. go down to gearbox or apd or command post and put your hands on a few guns and see what fits your style, what feels good to you. then buy what you want, not what someone else thinks you should carry.
