Thanks for the video. That's not real impressive..

Ok.......one last question. Is it worth the expense to use co2 ? I got a propane adapter that lets you add oil when you charge the grenade so we don't have to buy the green gas.

I should have asked all these questions before I bought but......black friday......I guess I got carried away.

If you want a more robust solution, get the S-Thunder Paintball/Cap shells previously mentioned and some of the MilSimLabs M781 rounds.  They perform far better than the Foam balls.  I've launched that combo roughly 75ft indoors with minimal arc (didn't hit the 10ft ceiling) on green gas.  Hit the person I was aiming at too.  Plus you've still got the ability to use them in the traditional shotgun role.

Co2 in shells is about performance, not cost.  I'd dare say it was almost a night and day difference with the S-Thunder shells.

Got it... I did order a S-thunder grenade. I guess we will see how well it does on green gas if we need more power then I'll check into a co2 adapter.

Every time I go to order something from milsimlabs they are out of stock. Tried to get some ammo for the tank from them but I eventually  found some nerf rockets for cheap around where I live so I gave up. I guess I'll just have to keep checking .

Thanks for the help !!

I know I'm a bit late here, but I figured it couldn't hurt.  I use those Pocket Vortex footballs and Madbull Stingers in my AG-36, and I can get some pretty good distance from them.  On a hot day, I've launched them farther than my AEG could shoot with propane (about the same as green gas).  However, when it's cold out, propane can be a bit unpredictable and unreliable;  I'm pretty sure C02 would be a lot more stable at lower temperatures, though.

And as far as practicality goes, I've found them useful almost every time I use my G-36.  It can really help at Fightertown sometimes.

Thanks for the info.

I was wondering about the practicality of a grenade launcher. We are new to air soft but we have been to a few organized games and so  far I haven't see anybody use one. (we live in northern az and haven't been to any fields in the valley yet) I did get it out and "Test" it before wrapping it. It is fun to shoot and it's very satisfying !!
