I'm somewhat curious if they will offer the barrel in 14in. vs. just 10in.

Or if I'll have to buy an M4 length outer barrel and inner barrel as well.

Even if you do it will be a dang sexy gun. I had been looking into the 416 for a while now and am now considering picking one of these up when they come out.

Deathbydanish - I doubt that the 417 will be compatible with a M4-style outer barrel since the real steel models have specialty barrels; knowing VFC, it'll be almost identical to the actual firearm.

But a longer barrel, or extension, will be nice. I personally like the 20" barrels used on the DM rifles.
