Hey all,
Working on a new project for someone, a TM SCAR-H Recoil. Original plan was to convert it to a custom blow back polarstar system. For now, however, he's keeping it electric and doing only light upgrades until we can figure out the technicals of adapting a blow back mechanism to it.
He uses a real steel SCAR-H and intends to use it to help with muscle memory, so soon hopefully will be able to do a review and side-by-side comparison of the TM vs real steel SCAR-H's and also just an overall of how well it performs.
For now though, here are a few pics of the virgin gun.
Also, if anyone else has any cool ideas for what kind of custom work to do to the gun, let me know (especially if they have an idea of how to do a blow-back polarstar). Always interested in entertaining wild and cool ideas for unique customizations.
Also when I get my hands on it, interested to see if a real steel SCAR suppressor will fit over the AEG flash hider. Why not, right?
Lastly, if you or anyone you knows wants a custom AEG (polarstar, etc) or GBBR built, hit me up. I'm always slow during the summer and always open to new projects.
Just finished modifying (heavily) an ARES EGLM in order to fit the TM body. Required a lot of dremeling and cutting hidden pieces (mostly in the magwell) in order to fit, but it works!
Plus added a tan Eotech 552 knock-off. I think it really completes the package. Hopefully the new owner will be proud to start using it soon!
