Element Comtac II Speaker Issues

Hey all. Bought a new pair of element comtac II replicas and I am having issues with recieveing transmissions. I can sent transmissions as the mic works fine but when someone is responding to me all I hear is a little "chirp". Have tried two different style PTT. Both of which are going into a Motorola talkabout. Could it be the radio? Also my element bowman headset works just fine with both ptt setups. What gives?? Ideas/ solutions would be great. Thanks

It sounds like you might have a disconnected/broken/frayed wire somewhere. Your headset is almost certainly the issue, but I have no idea if it's repairable or not, I've never opened up a set of electronic earpro before. I give it 50/50.
