There is a lot of info re polished vs unpolished airsoft bbs on google...

just enter polished vs unpolished airsoft bbs and quite a bit of info pops up...

First off, you posted your answer before I made my post, so it wasn't a response to you. Second, I came to an airsoft forum to ask an airsoft question, and that personally makes sense to me. I wanted this community's input. Third, I'm not a kid, I'm 24. Obviously asking about airsoft in an airsoft forum is a stupid idea. SO sorry to inconvenience all of you.

Polished bb's leave a Polish streak down your barrel. go shoot about 5 thousand of them and look down your barrel.
 Noobs, will be noobs and say unpolished bb's will cause more jam's because Of course they know everything.

But if you use your noggin and think with some common sense, Being polish-less would make your bb's have more hop. Because there not as Slick, and the matt surface on them after removal of said Polish, causes them to grab your bucking better. Thus Making better hop. :D

Now who ever said go try some unpolished bb's I suggest you do the same :D

I clean all my sniper weights with goo gone, to get the manufacturing crap off them. Then Hey i can set my hopup and over hop a .43 O.O whoa!


Figured id give them some smart-assery Back.

cuz you know everyone knows everything without that crucial experience it takes, To actually know what the FUuuuG there talking about

unpolished and garbage bb's are two different things tho.

If that is the case then I apologize to PE616, he posted his reply right after my google suggestion...
I have had some problems with both polished and unpolished and I bulk clean mine with dawn if and when I clean them... Having gentle flowthru vibratory cleaners that I use, I can wash and rinse with out removing the bbs, makes it really easy...

I've had problems with non polished bbs feeding because they wouldn't move fast enough in a mid cap
But they seem to be ok in high caps   its a spring tension issue for the most part.

its also a good idea to use a swab that's dampened with rubbing alcohol in your barrel and hop up. like i said the polish can build up and form a polished bucking. rubbing alcohol takes care of that pretty easy, just don't pour the shit down your barrel

Goo Gone works great for cleaning barrels. I have always used rubbing alcohol with a barrel cloth.

Also, I have found out that Elite Force bb's while not a bad product (obviously not the best) have a tendency to swell in temp's over 80 degrees.

I have always used the MadBull bb's though you really should clean your barrel out about every bag worth. Those have to be some of the most dirty bb's i've ever seen.
