That looks like a pretty cool design if you are going to try for a load out that's themed to look about 10 years in the future. I would definitely stay with the normal mp7 style because this looks extremely vulnerable to dirt. I would think they thought of that and made a way to keep out most of it out but in the video you can plainly see the springs and part of the bolt through the vents. This makes it very unconventional for field use as extensive cleaning will be required. Nobody wants to deal with the increased possibility of parts breaking because something got in the gun that wasn't supposed to.
Overall thoughts: the design is cool but WE ignored how that affects the internals.

No me gusta. It looks like a MP7-G36 hybrid to me.  ???

This video shows a few flaws. The recoil doesn't seem that great and the charging handle almost hits him in the nose. Not to mention the bolt release is operated backwards.

I would still rock a KWA over this. I have been hearing rumors of a VFC MP7 GBBR being in the works.

I saw that but I didn't think much of it. Thinking about it again it could do some damage. Also the charging handle looks cheap and easily breakable.

I think that it does look pretty unique, but I would rather buy a KWA

more current videos of the smg 8. seems to perform much better than in the videos filmed by WE tech. and i would stay away from vfc. they make amazing AEG's but their GBBR's tend to self destruct. I might even go as far as saying WE tech makes a more reliable GBBR. I still think KWA will have the most skirmishable mp7 though.
