A perfect example of why you should check the status before purchasing!

Like Jamie said, growing pains.

But to be honest, I don't mind being a second class customer, because that means they aren't in the game to make money, but to supply our nations best.  They need the Profile NVGs, Coyote Brown RAVs, and Hydration carriers, not me!

As airsofters, we must keep in mind that merely being tolerated by real-life go-faster guys is a blessing.  Lets not forget our place in the grand pecking order!

That said, find a good place to buy, and keep returning.  Let them know they do it right if you like the service, and let them know if you don't.  LF is one-stop-shopping, but there ARE better places to buy unless you have allegiance to Brad Nelson.

Maybe we should compile a list of the better places, just for future reference.

I personally like ordering direct whenever possible.
When I bought my pack from TT, it was smooth as can be.
Diamondback was a joy, as well. Fantastic customer service.
Brigade Quartermasters is great too.

DBT, Practical Tactical, Brigade QM, PoliceTees.com

BQM does not supply armed forces units (as a unit), and they have an extremely high volume of sales.

The BEST place to buy?  THIRD PARTY.  Everytie I have bought from another person directly (read, USED GEAR), it has been flawless.  Just drop us a line to ask if we've heard of him before.  Post something like "Has anyone ever dealt with Joe Schmoe?  He goes by "Nard1337" on the megaforce.com boards, and his email addy is XXXXX@MF.com."  Try to keep the comments to PM only.

Use good judgement, and find out as much as you can about the merchandise beforehand.

Well looks like I will have to wait anyways since just about everything except for my FSBE was out of stock. I got the vest today and must say it rocks! Other than a misconsumption about the release feature and it falling apart, everything looks good. Fits well too!

Misconsumption? [:P]

I assume you mean misconception.  What was your misconception about it?  The G&P one I had had a working release feature.

How many times did we tell you it worked?

Either way, it's cool and mush easier to re-attach than a RAV.[:P]
