AK 47 Spring
« on: September 06, 2014, 10:03:19 PM »
Im looking to do a spring change to about 400 on my aftermath kraken ak47. Anyone know what type of spring I need to buy. This gun is old so its hard to find help online for it.

I'm sure that the kraken is basically a cyma ak so anything that would bump that should work in yours. Maybe a m120 or m125 depending on how good the airseal is. You could just get a really good airseal and put a m100 in it and crank 400. Ive seen it happen. A m120 is probably your best bet though.

if the gun has seen alot of use replacing the Orings in the gear box may help bring up the FPS. Using a nozzle with   an O ring also may help. You can also try using heavier bbs like .25 .28 see what that does for your fps. You could also add a another hole to your piston head. I picked up an Oring for my cyma piston head at ACE hardware and it brought my FPS up from 250 to 285.
