EBB M4's...
« on: February 09, 2016, 03:04:55 PM »
Was going to get into gbb m4's for training purposes, but the rifles, magazines and gas are still way to expensive. I've been looking at ebb m4's, but most just work like a standard AEG, which aren't very realistic in terms of reloading. Been looking high and low for an ebb m4 with a working bolt catch/cut off system when the magazine is empty. I recall seeing one a few months back, but can no longer locate it.

Does anyone know of any brand of ebb m4 that has a working bolt catch to where the rifle stops firing when magazine is empty and you have to actually use the bolt catch?

If not, I'll just have to be patient and build up a gbb m4 with the gas and mags.

Thanks.

Tokyo Marui Recoil Shock systems and the KWA Electric Recoil Gun aka ERG series. Those are what you're looking for. I coincidentally enough have a TM RS on the way. Both are great platforms, granted the TM is going to be a bit better in terms of stock performance and ever so slightly easier to upgrade. It has a wider array of parts. If you have a facebook I highly recommend checking out the Recoil Shock group and the ERG group. Tons of info to be had in each and both are great communities.

If your interested a new system is coming out that has moving bolt function too along with bolt catch not sure on recoil though
made by GBLS called the DAS M4A1

but also check the kwa lm4 forums on facebook. Many of them are selling custom lm4's with multiple mags at pretty reasonable prices and most likely upgraded too if your still interested in getting into gbb m4's.

TM's are nice, but way too expensive. The KWA ERG base M4 is surprisingly affordable. I'll probably go with that. Thank you.
