Do you shoot left handed?  The magazine release on M9s (Real and airsoft) are reversable to make the gun more suitable for a person who shoots left handed.  I would think that if you shoot right handed, and you moved the mag release to the right side, (As in the left handed configuration) it would be even more prone to accidental release.

Ask Cochise about lost mags and a groundpounder holster.

Air goes in & out and blood goes round and round, any variation of this is bad.

I shoot right handed but some how I am retarted and always hit the button. I have large hands. So far in the other config I don't have a problem. I know it's weird or stupid or whatever but it works for me and  um yeah so just kill this post because it's going no where fast.

Jesse, try riding high thumb (put your strong hand thumb in on the little shelf that's on the upper rear of the grip, the your weak hand thumb points forward right under that).

Also, some competition folks (especially women) buy left handed SVI and STI frames so that they can use their middle finger to eject a spent mag. Once you get used to it, it's very quick. But it WILL release mags if it's an extended mag release (however, extended mag releases aren't a very sound idea in combat, if you ask me).

Just to let everyone know that you can put the mag release button on the other side of the gun if your having problems with accidental mag release.
Or you can put a better spring with a litte more tension.

Posting this just because.
