He IS a bit off on some subjects, but I don't blame him for it.

I'm just tickled pink that we have a president that lets his soldiers do their job (and finish it for that matter!).  I loathed Clinton for his anti-war policies.  Call me a war monger, but I think we should eliminate any threat to our  Nations people.

Now, what's interesting is that some might say George Bush is a threat to our country.  In that sense I would have to disagree, but I understand the viewpoint.  I simply think that the faults pointed out by the critics are outweighed by the fact that he is proactive when it comes to our nations defense.  As a soldier, I also am pleased with the military budget that has been set forth during this and his past term.

After Clinton, I am very excited about that, no matter what his policies are on everything else!

Totally agree with you here!!! [smilie=armata_pdt_37.gif]

Why did the seth kill the droid commader, He could of negotiated piece after all, I think that would of made him look even better in the eyes of the Senate

Because Palpatine wanted absolute power.  With the Nemoidians in the way, he would have to deal with them.  They were simply tools anyway.  The whole war was!  After he gained his power as emperor, he had no more need for the senate.

Actually, that's not true.  The Emperor did need the Senate, in order to keep the systems in line.  Of course, the Senate held no real power, but he still needed them.  It wasn't until 20 years later during Episode IV that he disbans the Senate.

Thanks for clearing that up, Jamie.  It makes sense.  I failed to realize that it's difficult to rule with an iron fist if no one knows who you are!
