Hey all,

Just a heads up...we're not going to do gunshows any more...not profitable for us.

However, we're looking into opening a retail storefront later this year....

mmm....retail store....

Tim, the problem with the gunshows is people don't buy real gear becuase they don't use it for the real purposes. Most of the people there are laid back shooters, or competition shooters(or gun collectors). None of them need gear that can save their life. Thats a shame though. If you want, i'll carry around some of your products on my bad and in my gear, without having to set up a booth(maybe someone will say "hey, where'd you get that!?", just a thought, seen people do it before.)

Appreciate the offer...I'll give it some thought for next time.

I knew the shows weren't for gearheads, so I am not surprised at the financials. I am surprised we did as well as we did...also was a great way to get our name out there.

Anyone here know a commercial real estate agent that can help me scout/negotiate locations?  I have a few places in mind but don't want to go it alone.

I'd also be glad to help in whatever ways I may. (probably looking for a summer job too :)

I actually did a fair ammount of research on retail stores and such (my plan never came to fuition as I decided I wanted to teach) but I have an excellent plain english book that talks about negotiation of this sort, ill try and dig it out.

hell, those vests look very good, ehehe cant tell some 1 about this a ham vest;p forget the 45,000.00 radio RVs , but that all that on your back ;p works for me,

BTW whats the need for mags, grab, use, dump the gun, then use another. Iam a walking armory.

Tim,

Just an idea, but you might want to contact Ron at Jungletoy.  He just got through scouting and getting two locations in the Metro area.  I had given him the idea for the area of the location in Tempe, but I dont know who he contacted in the real estate biz for that specific building.
