My team owns a half dozen of these guys. They do work surprisingly well. If you use the Energizer Lithium 9 Volts in the transmitter and the receiver the range is infinitely better. Supercell also makes a version of the transmitter with a pigtail for an AEG. You can rig it to fire your AEG via the remote and the second button can detonate a single claymore. The Mauri speed loaders make loading these much easier.

Ok, I'll bite...  Fire an AEG via remote?  I can understand firing a claymore mine (and hope that I never trip one of the wired type.)  But, fire an AEG?

The detonator he has in the vid is a remote unlock/lock for a car....imagine...
Claymores in your back seat, loaded on your way from a M&G...hit the wrong "unlock" button...
I'd laugh...even if it was my own car.

It is easy to make those run off of photo eyes all you need is a photo eye, a reflector and a soldering iron. Then you have the stealth of no string and don't have to deal with a remote control.

The Airsoft claymores remotes detonation packs come in two types of remote units. The first is set up to remotely detonate (2) different groups of claymores. The second version is set up to operate a single Claymore and then has a plug to control your AEG. Basically you unplug your battery from your AEG plug and insert the Surpercell remote pack in between. Then the receiving unit for the remote acts as a relay. You can set it so that push of the button makes the unit fire continuously until the button is pushed again. Or it can be configured so that the AEG fires only as long as the button is held down. One thing to keep in mind the remote pack does not disable the ability of these units to be operated via trip wire or wired remote. You simply decide how you want it to detonate when you set it up. I will upload a video later this week. Just been busy with work and too damn lazy to go grab an AEG out of a case, set it up and shoot the video.
