Easter Thought
« on: March 28, 2005, 09:50:23 AM »
This Easter I watched the original version of The Passion of the Christ and had a thought...

Why did a man, named Jesus, 2000 years ago, suffer so much pain? He was innocent. He took the place of a murderer. He claimed to be the Son of the Living God! That is what he was killed for. Maybe he was lying? But why would someone die for a lie? Maybe he was he crazy? Maybe he was just a good teacher? Or maybe he was who he said he was. Maybe he suffered because he loved us, so that we could be free from eternal death. But the most important question of all you need to ask yourself is "What will I do with this man from Nazareth?"

I'll live my life in a manner deserving of such a sacrifice.
