-Gee-wiz, gosh golly-golly large caliber bang-bangs..
« on: May 26, 2005, 08:20:02 PM »
Hahaha! Okay, why hasn't someone addressed the standoff -mass casuality ability of short-range ambush/skirmish better?

...I'm talking RPGs, (Panzerfaust for the WWII reinactor dude), claymores, bouncing Betty's, etc.

I see M203/M/79s, But little else. Seriously, wouldn't a booby-trap element get your adrenaline up and raise the fun factor?

I can design a spinning trip-wire water or pellet mine if anyone's interested?
Range of spray, maybe 15 feet or so...

I value your thoughts, yea or nay.

They have airsoft claymores already, but landmines would be cool, thats just my opinion.  Step on that and bb's shoot out everywhere, just dont want em going up my nose.

We've used electronic claymores in the past, they are cool.... except you need to go and find them after each OP.

Electronic as in how, Andy? Is it akin to an audible alarm, or does it shoot something?

Yea man, there are claymores, they have just a loud ass beeping noise and if you are within about 15 or so feet you are dead. To my knowledge, there are no spraying type land mines. If you want to build them, they would be awesome for large ops, especially with vehicle scenarios.

I have here a Airsoft rocket launcher modeled after an AT-4.
This RPG fires tennis balls up to 200 ft using an electric safety switch and momentary push button.
This is great for thoes sims with vehicals or bunkers. Uses compresse air to fire its projectile. Different pressures can be used for different ranges and different projectiles.
Included are 3 tennis balls, 1 is cut in fourths and reglued so it will explode on impact, fill it with bbs or flour to do splash damage. Also included is a foam sabot, that can be filled with bbs and fired directly at players with a shotgun like effect.

Reason i'm selling is i have more than one RPG, i dont need them all.

Asking $175.00 + shipping OBO for this awesome addition to your collection. Need a new addition to you airsoft collection?
Used in two sim for testing purposes. Was one of the most interesting sims I have played in. Everbody kept yelling RPG !   :gun:

The next pictures are before the final paint job and before the handle got trimmed.

Here are the new pictures with the final paint job and some decals

It's an  audible alarm. However they make some that shoot BB's. I got two of the the first one made....when they were cheaper. Here is a link to his current Claymores.http://totalairsoft.com/catalog/product ... b70560792b  They got more expensive and I don't know if it is worth $150.  It might be better to peice everything together your self and make a copy with the modifacations you would prefer to have. I'm speaking from expeirence.

Here are two more options shown at another retailer.

I might buy one of these and see how it ticks. Might be possible to make some.
Thanks Ken.
