If your planning on using the AN/PAQ to hold the battery I would recommend using a M4 RIS replica.  It would be easier to hide the battery connector inside of it.  A free floating one would be more solid, but that would leave the battery connector exposed on the outside of the RAS and battery box.  If you do it right a non-free floating RIS/RAS can be just as solid as a free floating type.

Have you done it MIkey? Im curious to know, I know of one(the g&p RIS) that is pretty sturdy, But since it's made of more pieces It will wobble eventually.

Yes.  It shouldn't wobble at all if you assemble it correctly.  I used the G&G RAS that comes on their R4 AEGs and it fits solid.  Its made to the exact same dimensions as the real one.  Others have used the Classic Army version with good results I have heard, but I will let them speak about their experience should they choose.

You can't just mount it to a plastic body and expect a solid feel.  You need to go all the way and get metal body and barrel.  You would still get wobble if you mounted a free floating system to a plastic body.
