Depot 53 - Anybody heard of 'em?
« on: June 20, 2005, 12:28:41 PM »
I was looking around for some US airsoft retailers and came across Depot 53 (www.depot53.com).

They carry most if not all of the airsoft items you would look for in a retailer.  They even have G&G's new M14 as well as the high-cap mags for 'em.

I had a question about the availability of a certain item so I e-mailed 'em.  Five minutes later I got a response.  He also stated that I could call the 800 number they have for any problems or questions.  Also shipping doesn't seem like it would be too bad as they're based in Dallas, Texas.

They seem to be a well-run company.  Has anybody ordered something from them?  If so, how would you rate them?

I did forget one important part though...

To order from them, you must complete their waiver and have a copy of a government issued ID.  You can fax, e-mail, or mail the waiver and copy of ID to them.

The only reason they do this is to ensure that the buyer is over the age of 18 and for liability issues.  I personally believe it's a good idea.

To get the full reasoning and a copy of the waiver just go to www.depot53.com and go to Depot 53 Info in the left hand column.
