I would rather drive one of these to work. I have done welding for their company and have driven a number of their cars. They use a crotch rocket engine (e.g. hybusa 1300cc) and have awsome acceleration and are relatively inexpensive. A few mods like a windshield, handbrake, turning signals, road tires, licence plate etc... and you are good to go! they are out of a car wash on country club in mesa.

I used to have a sandrail, my wife wanted Quads though..... so I sold it.

If they sold those in the US, and I had enough money, I would SO buy one of those...  I wonder how much it would cost to get one imported... :D

Cool 'rail Andy. I had a Woods framed one very similar to that back in the 80's. It had a body, roof, and a 2600 Dual Port with a beefed-up Bus tranny.

  Well, they said it was 20,000 pounds.  So figure roughly 40,000 US just for the vehicle.  Transportation would probably be another few grand by ship.

That was built for $3,000 with a VW engine and tranny.  Cheaper off-road vehicle
