The SwatHouse was a lot of fun. I played with all my toys and even ran into some players from my (really) old paintball days. Everyone there gave a good fight, and the staff run the place with professional attitude. i.e. Making new players feel welcome as well as keeping the game running quickly and with different scenarios.

I see this field having a long and prosperous future. I had a great time and definately got my money's worth. I'm coming back ASAP, probably in September.

Give it a try, guys.

If it as awesome as it appears to be, we should try to get  a convoy going to go out there. Maybe they would let us camp out? That would be the main thing...I sure as shit am not paying for lodging. That's like 60-80 bucks gone for no reason.

Find a place to stay in Vegas for 60 bucks and I'll hire you as my travel agent!

I'll definitely be checking this out next time I go to Nellis.

Yo Sarge, My S.O. Kathy found a couple nights at the Suncoast that 4th weekend for $50.00/night on Expedia.

We got a coupon book good for free meals, drinks and goodies that saved us 50 bucks right there, so the two nights were fifty.
Howzzat?

p.s. The Suncoast was just 35min. away from the Swat House.

Got it set up for July 5th. We'll be there from 5pm-on. They said they close at 9, but if there's a good game going, will stay open longer.
No orange barrel thingies, as it's a private field.
Use own guns, ammo, anything goes.
See website for details.
See you there!
Chip

Did they give you an FPS limit?  I wasn't able to find one anywhere.  When you say "no orange barrel thingies" do you mean we don't need 'em?  That contradicts what's on their website in my opinion.

I looked over the SwatHouse website, and they do make a point of removal of the orange safty colors, I kinda got the impression there are lots of LE personal there, and maybe your gun might get confiscated as illegal without the orange tips???

Also Mooncruiser said he was going to be there on July 5th from 5pm on--the hours say they are not open on Tuesdays?

"1pm - 9pm  We-Th-Fr-Sa-Su"

Clarification is needed, sorry Mooncruiser

FLASH

The orange barrel tips are a requirement under the commerce act.  It is required for sale and commerce transportation... not for private ownership.  At least that's the way it was last I checked.

Yeah, real neat.

BTW, they have a gun repair/hop-up service on the premises. They were offering these interesting weapon paintjobs in Digicam...

Lots of stuff for sale there too. I bought a great zip-up LBV for a fair price.

Y'know, just a thought.. Wonder if you Sawt House guys can work a hotel room deal for XX numbers of players willing to go there for a game?
