I've had my TM M4A1 for god.... three years, and no real problems. Upgraded and everything. however the plastic bodied upper had to be replaced, and all it took was someone bumping into the rifle stand and it falling 2 foot to break the rear tabs. and the barrel wabble was fixed with a one piece barrel unit. Great guns, provided you take care of them and upgrade them properly. you'd be surprised what little you need to  do to make them look less like plastic. I love my Marui M4 the most, but my CA SPC is way more solid of a platform at a more cost effective  price (when you figure in reinforced parts, i spent over 800 bucks upgrading externally one of my TM platforms) but that may be because I've put much more work into it.. I've heard mixed things about the ICS C-15 series. but from what I've seen in person they are solid also. they have a two stage GB that is supposedly easy to upgrade, I just dont know about the two piece GB though. I have heard quite often on them having  problems with the switch assembly, resulting in misfires. I do like the forward assist spring decompressor though, great Idea! I'm kinda partial to CA Armalite Series, let's face it, they are built very well. If you want durable, I'd go with the CA M15 series, but that is just my two cents and I'm sure there will be a few people that will have a few things to say to that...

What about G&G and G&P? Both seem to fair very well... G&G the moreso from what I have seen.
