I wanted to give you guys a heads up about the Sonoita Silo. I posted this to the Arizona shooting forums, but it might apply here:

We were out there one day and within minutes of arriving (no joke) a Pima County Sherrif officer drove up to inform us that after some complaints the Sherrif's departmnt did some research and found that the land belonged to ADOT and that we werent allowed to shoot there (and that the gate was the boundry), except people kept shooting down the No Tresspassing sign.

This applied to real-steel firearms and shooting, so im not entirely sure how strict they'd be to airsoft.

The officer, did, however suggest going to a missile silo about 5 mi S/E:

It is about 5 miles east on the I-10, turn off on a road called "Empirita"
Once you pull off the freeway you should head south and you will see a dirt road that goes to the southeast. This will lead to the remnants of apparently an old missile silo, there are two large flats of cement and a couple of hills. (much like sonoita).

I just want to request that in order to preserve at least this shooting location that everyone be responsible and clean up after themselves so we dont get kicked out. icon_smile
