I knew a guy who did roids in high school.
The only times I had seen him fly off the handle was
A) Someone thought it'd be a swell idea to take his Rolex and hide it while we were waiting on weigh ins for wrestling...
B)Someone was asking him about the roids and said.."Doesn't it make your dick get small?"  He then smashed his hand into a locker grabbed the kids shirt and shouted louder than hell " NO STUPID! YOU JUST GET BIGGER AROUND IT!!"

It was beyond funny.

Your eating habits are what made, is keeping you fat!  Your metabolism is a direct result of your feeding/fueling habits, your weight is a direct response to your one meal a day.  Essentially you've made your body extremely "efficient" as the only "fuel" you are putting into the "machine" is once a day!  The body is an incredible machine and must be reactive in order to survive in any environment and surroundings.  

Try not changing a thing about what and amount of food you are eating. Just take that single meal you normally eat and break it into 3 or even 4 meals a day. That and making sure you are properly hydrated, it will make fat burning more efficient as well. Fat cells are encased or surrounded in water, by "flushing" or drinking plenty of water it will help fat loss. Of course there needs to be an increase caloric demand (some type of increase in physical activity) in order to burn fat and being properly hydrated pay dividends. Your body will respond accordingly and within 3 weeks You Will Notice A Dramatic drop in body fat. Only by drinking more water and breaking what you are eating into several meals a day!

If you find this too inconvenient or troublesome you really should ask yourself how much do you value your health? What about those who care about you, rely on you and the positive impact and contributions you make in their lives.  Then the sudden shock and trauma an unexpected death would cause. What about the void left in their lives or worse yet, the burden on peoples lives if you suffer a stroke, heart attack, diabetes (and the many diseases caused by diabetes), joints failing due to stress from the extra load(s) like your hips, knees, ankles and back?

A diet is how you eat, Period. Live your life and be happy,,,

Well, I tried eating several small meals a day, I gained weight, quickly!

Water? Maybe thats the key? I do not drink water much. I drink Caffine free cola, about 1 2 liter bottle every three days or so.
I was out in the desert a couple weeks ago with 2 pals, the one guy decided we needed to head back to civilization, he claimed if something went wrong we would die as we had no water with us. I told him I could go without water for at least a full day. I sometime go three days straight without food or water or anything.

Sorry to tell you, but my joints already have failed! Not going to get deep, but I ALWAYS was a bit heavy, I weighed around 210 nearly all my adault life. I fell at work about8 years ago, and broke my ass real good. I had surgury, and a month and a half later got hit head on by a drunk. That messed me up real good. I had to spend most of the next year sitting. I gained weight and due to continuous problems form the head on, excercise isnt something I do. I played airsoft mainly due to my good buddy Mooncruiser goading me into playing. I try to play, the best way I know how for my condition, and that is to snipe. I have been crapped on by a lot of the younger/skinny/fast types who just dont get it.

But thanks for the advice, I shall check into the drinking of water, and something other than perhaps  only one meal a day.

As for my croaking, trust me, it will be no great loss to anyone.

I decided to cut soda out of my diet completly. Now I just dring water milk and Juice. It really made a difference. Obviously not in my weight, cause I don't have any to lose, but in my fitness. Without that carbonation, my air intake was much better and now I can run three and a half miles in twenty minutes without getting tired at all.

The lack of sugar and caleries really makes a difference on the weight thing. Flash, I'm sure, if you cut out cola from your diet complely, you'd see a rapid change.

diet+water-cola=really good for you.

Diet cola is actually just as bad as normal cola. Stop drinking soda. And drink ONLY water...those small 3-4 meals a day were probably not small flash..

Hector is right on the nose...he has been doing it for a long time, and I myself, happen to know quite a bit about it too. Take it from us, we know what we are talking about. And any "personal trainer" or anyone who is truely in shape will tell you the same thing.

I have been just drinking water to  for three weeks now. I drink about a gallon a day, I havent change my eating habits yet but just by cutting the Cola/Tea soft drinks its made a differnce.


Goal is to turn 20 lbs of fat into muscle and to kick some ass at  LCV. I want to be able to run 6-8 with 30lbs of gear on by then. Only thing stopping me IS ME!!!!

Water only... great advice, really.

If someone is in very bad shape and has a terrible diet it's funny how little of a change they can make to see larger results.

A buddy of mine was...well...Fat as all hell.
The doctor told him to start easy (A shock in your diet can actually cause harm to the body...most often seen at older ages though)
All he had to do was for his fast food meals all day every day...Small fry not large water instead of soda and throw a bun (top or bottom, does it really matter?) off his burger.  he could even eat the double clog your heart and kill your dog burger...just without a bun :

Never held his hand on the scale so not sure of how much weight, but it was obvious he lost a noticeable amount over about a 6 week period.

I'd say, losing weight isn't hard (Barring in physical injury limiting activity)
gaining healthy weight is hard.

Flash,

Like you I have been there and tried that but to a lessor degree as I am 35.  But I did manage to lose 95 pounds and keep it off for better than 6 years.  My 2nd marraige and the emotional abuse I went through put 40 pounds of that back on. Absolutely amazing how the mind affects the body! I am back into the physical aspect of up keep on my "machine."

This is just My Opinion and No Other Persons!

Live Your Life and Be Happy, people are who they are and we should accept them as that, the Entire Package!  If not then there are others whom we can call friends. Aside from eating habits, I think you are perfect just the way you are! But if you want to make a few changes on how you eat or just some low impact leisure activities that can help you lose weight. Let me know and I'll be happy to help In Any Capacity!

On a side note.

Come on out to the airsoft game this Saturday and shoot some of the people who keep making jokes at other peoples expense!

My brother and his friends go to 43rd ave and T-bird. They usualy walk there from school, on the same crossroads. It's a good place. Nice people there.

Being the nerd I am, I play at the lan cafe there. And, it's not farfetched to say that fights happen at that bar/grill there all the time. It's a good show!
