Cheap Marui replica Steyr Aug locally in Phoenix area?
« on: December 08, 2005, 01:20:29 PM »
Hey guys.  I had a Marui AUG a while back and I loved the feel of it.  I have this great idea of modifying an AUG stock to use on my 10/22.  I figure with a dremel, some epoxy, time, and patience I can achieve this.  I don't want to pay $300 for a Marui AUG in order to just use the stock.  I saw some cheap ($20-30) Marui replicas of the AUG on ebay.  I figure that the internals must suck, but the stocks probably quite similar.  The only catch is that shipping costs as much as the gun  .  Does anyone know where I could pick one up here in the valley?

Thanks guys in advance for the help.  I'll keep you posted on the project in the "real firearms" section.

Clint

Those 30 dollar AUGs were probably the minis.

If it's for use on a firearm, I'd be careful with what you choose.

If you're looking for a real TM stock (Versus the BE/tech) one, I've got one "to spare."  Plastic is probably sturdier than what you're going to find on the BE.  ...Is it just the "ST-2" plastic body that you need, or the metal front as well?
