In refrence to the article....Blah Blah Blah....I used to think, "Who needed a fully automatic AK 47?"  I used to think that some of those who wanted them were probally nut jobs.  Well, there are nut jobs everywhere lets face it, but they shouldnt be the reason to restrict responsible people.  Should we ban cars?  They kill more people than guns do here in the United States. And we all know how crazy California Drivers are, maybe they should focus on more strict traffic laws and outlaw SUVs.   Though someone should ban this guy from all guns. http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=3d131 ... 610&f=copy

If he had his finger down the frame of the gun that wouldn't have happened.

Dont tell me your going to exchange sexual favors for representation, You know we are talking SAN FRAN  MAN!

And I went to great effort to not say anything about those polesmoking asspackers so as to not offend anyone on the forum.  Honsetly though, how many faggots do you know that even own a handgun???

You take a lot of pride in being a bigot, don't ya buddy?

Just shows what a crock of sh!t Azsarge's "deleting post" thread is.

No loss on my part if you are inclined to express your bigotry in the same manner as "Doc Holiday".

Aside from gay bashing and personal disputes....
San fran does not have the largest gay population(At least in '03 when a buddy of mine checked, it was Orlando)  They're just out spoken there.
I say this, because I love California.

Anyhow, I don't love limitations on firearms.
I'm not a huge gun fan personally, truly the majority of guns people own they have no real need for them.
Spout all you want about being prepared and personal defense...I'm a little back and forth about hunting excuses even, most gun owners will never fire a round at a person in a situation where it was required to protect loss of life(And that's a good thing).
I in no way feel that those reasons should limit a persons ability to own one(Or twelve).  There is tons of stuff people don't really NEED but are allowed to have...How about the guy with a gas chugging massive truck, but the bed is in pristine condition...Or McDonalds even.

Is there a problem with too many "bad people" having guns?  Yeah, sure.
Is limiting the ability for the majority of people to own fire arms the solution?  Well, it would prevent some shootings, but not nearly enough to justify it.

I think they should focus on tracking firearms, and tougher controls on the distributors and people who sell them.

Fun fact, California actually has a city named "Banning".

Interesting update to this issue:

http://www.cbs5.com/localwire/localfsne ... s_bcn_html

Basic summary: California court of appeals rejects the petition to keep the handgun ban out of court.

EDIT: Whoops just read the article
