Definitely. It's a little pricey, but it's legit as it gets.

Well, it's made well, but if you "as legit as it gets", I don't think you'd buy that.

Now to solve this problem.

Wait, there is no problem! I run a red dot on my CQB R and the dots right on the front sight post.

It's a non issue, unless you still shoot with ONE eye open.  Open both eyes, use the dot, and fire away.  You'll get used to it, but it's the right way.

Do not buy a carry handle to mount a red dot!

I'm most definitely not as legit as it gets (military-wise...never having been military, nor ever experiencing any military training aside from ROTC which imo doesn't count).

But that tactical carry handle is definitely built to last, and it being a real steel part just makes it that much sweeter in my eyes. It might not be mil-legit however it is both a fairly beefy and real-steel part.

Wait a sec, if my memory serves me right, unless you are running a free floating unit on the front, you wont be able to secure the hangaurds on the upper properly if you remove the front post. Free floating tube units secure the handgaurd to the barrel nut rather then the barrel cap attached to the front post. So you are better off getting a riser mount (15 bux on ebay) or if you are happen to be running an Aimpont Comp type sight (like the round 20 dollar unit sold by JT) you can pick up a stylish cantalever sight mount for the real Comp sight and that wil get it above the front post. AZ Tactical is where I got mine. 79.99

Well, shit.  I got a Aimpoint replica with a Knight's cantilever I'll sell you for 45 bux.

Robby is correct, though.  Don't take it off.

The point I was trying to make earlier is that you can still use a red dot with the front sight post in the way.  That is, IF you're using the dot properly.

I dont really want to remove the front sight, but it's just wierd when it's in the way like that. i also like the way it looks with the carry handle better...

Sorry for the delay, got caught up in holiday-schedule work BS.

I ordered my new tactical carry handle (it cost less than I thought, only 99.95 :) ), and once it gets here, my carry handle is yours.
