My girlfriend made a cute comic about me when I got my gun
« on: February 12, 2006, 02:54:22 AM »
She was hiding in the bathroom when I first started shooting it around and the BB's were bouncing everywhere, said it gave her the idea for this :)

Yes yes, because you lot would scream bloody murder about eye protection in the comic she has shooting glasses too ;)

that is funny,  She did a good job.  Now to have her post a weekly cartoon of airsoft exploits.  Could be cool.

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

I don't know if i've mentioned to anyone, but i do draw.  What she did, is very cool.  I don't know how to post and stuff like that on a website, better yet, making comics on a computer.

I'm just a freehand sketch artist... most of my work is all done in pencil, and is very detailed....

To make comics on a computer, first of all you need programs like Photoshop for most of the work, Illustrator is optiional for line art.

If you like to hand sketch stuff then you'll need to get a scanner, or find someone who has one so you can scan it to upload, or for touching it up on a computer.

You can also get a Wacom tablet which allows you to draw with a pen straight to Photoshop, those bloody things are expensive and my gf has broken two already, but that's her ;)

Yeah... i've heard of those.  But when it comes to fine arts, i dont really like the use of technology at all.  Ever since i can remember, i have always been that kid in the back of the classroom sketching and doodling on everything.  It was really bad in high school, too.  But i had a kick ass art teacher who had the same problem... so she help me fight it out if the other teachrs gave me shit about it.

But yeah, i just mainly like the good ol paper and pencil.  That's what i grew up drawing with and still have yet to "master" the art.  After i graduate from the Arizona Automotive Institute, i plan on finding a good paying job so i could attend the next school of my choice... an art school, like Art Institute of Phoenix.  My career goal is to become one of those well-known car guys who can do just about anything as far as disgnosis and repair and anything else for the common automobile.  As well as an all out custom designer for body, paint, and maybe even chassis... like designing a prototype for the Nissan Skyline  :D
I would also like to work for a racing team, and build race cars, and even street cars, too.

My journey has only begun.  Education is the key, i believe.  And you gotta earn money to make money.  Unless your parents are rich.  My parents aren't rich... they can at least support me when i need help though.  Sorry so long... again  :P

She seems to be a very good artist...

Also, dont worry about the eye protection thing, i dont think we are going to be that harsh... The point is that there is atleast some form eye protection, which gets the point across...
