I see that the UAE gave a Million doolar donation to the Bush Library fund......Hmmmmm, guess that is why they own the ports on NY?
Money buys anything, and those who take that money to sell out America are Communists

.......and the list goes on.

To clarify, which is potentially worse: Selling defense secrets to the Chinese Communist Party, or allowing the purchase of a UK company by an allied country (UAE)?

First Warlock, I am not in any lane of any sort, I do not run in any races.
I am more like this

O.........................................................................X
Earth                                                                FLASH

As for the Chicoms, ya, clinton was busy getting his dick sucked off, and let things go to hell. Bush and haliburtonCheyney came in and made certain to step into the profit spotlight. Cheyney already made a bundle off the bird flu antivirus (tamifly) as he has massive stocks in that company. Bush doenst care about captureing binladen, because they financed his oil operations in texas, and what other reason would he had for flying his famioly out of the USA the night of 9-11?
I have a friend who says that due to the elections, Bush will claim he wasnt voted in, but placed into the presidencey by an act of congress, and therefore he will run again in 2008 (for his true 2nd term)
The thought also is that as he says we are at war (and that is true) he will somehow find a way to susspend elections if need be to stay in power.

Trust me, its a huge shit sandwich, and we ar all going to have to take a big bite, or two, or three, or............

I see America being eroded from the outside in, via those at the top.
Funny. I see America being eroded from within, by half-stepping, why-cant-we-all-be-friends morons who can't understand one thing:

No matter how much appeasement we perform, no matter how much cultural sensitivity we display, no matter what, there are people out there that chafe daily at the fact that you and I have freedom. And they would just as soon lop your head off as attempt to understand you.

And apparently he isn't alone in that. The word is IMBECILE. If you're going to insult someone, especially someone who has done far finer works than you ever hope to accomplish with your armchair diplomacy, at least have the courtesy of spelling the insult correctly.

It bears repeating:

Grammarian usually has little to contribute to a discussion and possesses few effective weapons. To compensate, he will point out minor errors in spelling and grammar. Because of Grammarian's obvious weakness most Warriors ignore him.

The daily penny...

Perception is the only truth, fact, and opinion. Everything that exists is viewed through a perception. Only when all see the same perception is it considered a fact or truth. Originally the earth was flat, and that was a perceptual fact.

How do you really know that the green you see is really green?

How would you feel being color blind before anyone knew what is was.

How would you react when you finally found one other person that agreed with you?

Does one agreement mean that it is a fact?

So how any agreements does it take to become a fact or truth?

What if you were raised in a group of color blind inhabitants and you met one who wasn’t. Now who is color blind?

The point here is that our environment builds our perception and we are more easily attracted to information that agrees with our perception. Because if it agrees with me then it must more likely be true therefore I do not challenge it. Now that it is fact I will
defend it.

So in layman’s terms quit getting your panties in a bunch because what you think is a fact may lead you off the edge of the earth!

Just don’t be so afraid to tear down and rebuild your perception every once in a while. I am always finding holes in my perception and so I search others perceptions for possible answers. Venture outside of your perception and try and understand the truth that exists in other perceptions before you attack with such disregard.

I see people on this board argue over information that is nothing more than their perception, of a perception, of a possible fact. If you wish to discuss then do so.

Remember, your emotions are not part of your perception they are a defense of what you are not sure of yourself.

I do think that the port deal can be good. This would not benefit a terrorist in any way above what a terrorist can do with his own money. If anything are we influencing the Arab culture in a non-military way which should please those against the war. As for security, there are major problems with the security of our homeland that make this deal look like a pebble in place of a dam. And we all understand this because of our proximity to the Mexican border. I haven’t found any information where the UAE knowingly as a whole supported terrorism against Israel and the West. Their motivation and weakness is money. An addiction to money is easier to control than a steadfast belief in a hijacked religion. It is not a perfect solution but when is a solution ever perfect.

But I look at this from a strategic global viewpoint and anywhere you find two cultures who are centuries apart in technology you will find hate. Hate not of those who left you but rather hate for your own kind and your own fear that you are inferior. When fear is all you feel then fear is all you can give. And that is the last true weapon any man possesses. This is why we need to continue doing two things. Continue fighting to keeping mass weapons out of the hands of those who are consumed with fear and help and educate those who are not yet consumed.
