Well, I was just gonna say frontally owned, since they'll miss their first shots, so, we just take care of them without any fancy flankery.

I could see having a security team but really, I think one guy just popping off a shot sporadically would work best.

Gotta backup weapon too. [smilie=armata_pdt_36.gif]

Yeah, I did not mean fighting side by side on the front lines, that be asking for trouble like red and vince pointed out. Playing alone detatched from the group yet working with them by being their eyes works best imo.

Playing against a nub with a "sniper" is one thing, going after and flanking a sniper that actually knows what he is doing is another. Ghillie's arent exactly made to be seen.

Back up weapon is a great idea, it isnt exactly fun breaking cover and falling back because someone just happens to show up within <50ft.  :)

Well, the Dragunov arrived here today. Evike shipped it in record time. They packed it well and had it out the door the same day I ordered it.

The gun is really pretty. Lacquered wood and glossy metal. The scope is robust, but I'll need to get some fresh batteries for it. The switch was left on from the factory (boo).

It doesn't weigh near as much as I expected. I can carry this puppy all day and still pack along a MP5 too.

The lacquer finish has a few blush marks. -They must hve sprayed it in a high humidity area. No matter, as I am going to matt it all down anyway.

No bipod, even though it was advertised as supplied with one. Hoever, three magazines came with it.. I'll call Evike about the bipod..

I'll chrono it later and let you know how it shoots.

Yep, I paid extra for the scope, but it fits nice on the weapon.

Needs a little sighting-in, but I'm pretty sure I can drive nails with it soon.

Damn sweet rifle!

UPDATE: I just called Evike and they said they weren't selling the gun with a bipod, and that the website would be updated to remove that part.

Their bad. I find the rifle's balance probably negates the need for one, anyway.
