Wife saw they are showing "new training technology", and she saw guys loading BBs. So I guess something airsoft related might be featured in tonights news. Just a heads up! :x

Thanks for the heads-up JoJockAmo.

I watched this segment on Fox and I must say that I was pleasantly suprised.  The Spin seemed to be positive.  I expect the media to paint us as survivalist/extreemists.  You know, guys with cammies and guns must be bad.

Most of the footage was of an OP in Idaho which seemed to be a recreation of the "Battle of the Bulge".

I heard things mentioned about a game of honor and things that made it different than paintball.

I don't have TIVO or anything like it, but I wish I did.  Any that do I know that FOX reruns broadcast early in the morning but I don't know when.

The funniest thing was a shot of a guy reloading with 4 BBs' going into his mag for every 18 spilling on the ground.     I don't think that I was there.

Be Well,
Phyrst

The softer you make your words, the easier it is when you have to eat them!

I saw it, it was a realy nice spin on the airsofting community... in utah. I thought it was a bit weird that they did not seek out any local airsofters. It is not like we are hard to find (google "airsoft arizona").

It was probally in their "media files", where a news channel can run stories done by their affiliates in other locations. Makes it easy for them to fill in space with out doing alot of work.  ;)

Maybe we should take the initiative next time, and show them how good of a community we have here. I figure its at least worth mentioning.
