I love ALL my CA guns. My M4, problem child that it is, is taking a much less prominent role in my arsenal as I move onto my CA36C while I figure out just how much more money I will spend on the M4 before I recycle it.

But that's not the point of this thread.

I love my CA36C and I am sure I will love my TM G36C when I get one. G36s are my new favorite weapon. Full-length, converts to shortie with the swivel of the butt-stock, what's not to like?

Monstrous rate of fire with only an upgraded battery, though I hear most version3 guns do that. But do any of them look as cool and feel as comfortable as the G36? Not in my world.

OK another guestion for those with CA G36 rifles. The people at AEX say that the barrel end is painted orange and that the barrel and flash hider are 1 part so, do you guys A) have some way of removing the paint, B) paint over it, C) replace the whole outer barrel to be rid of the orange, or D) the flash hider and barrel are NOT 1 part so you just replace the flash hider?

they are 1 part i think. now that i think about it, i've never checked. i just put it in a bottle with some paint thinner for about 4-5 days, periodically brushing it with some steel wool. orange came off just fine and i just repainted it.

i got mine from AEX, they were one of the first with it out(so i'm an original i guess/hope) i just painted mine, but its one part cause i could never get mine off, which is kinda gay cause i want to add a tracer anywho, yes its painted. and i love the mags personaly, but i'm buying G36 mag pouches for my Flectarn webbelt so they don't stick. but as i said before great reliable gun!

FYI, for those who have had issues with G36 magazines and fitting in pouches, I am told the DBT magazine pouches that are intended for the SR25 are a good fit.

More like, they WILL fit.

I wouldn't call it "good."

I believe the flash suppressor can be taken off without having to removing the small part which connects the rest of the outer barrel with it.

I like the G36 mags. But is it normal when using the 470r magazine, to have to wind it every 15 shots shots or so? What the hell is the point then of having 470r if you have to stop to wind it so much.

i don't know what type of mags your using i can go threw a good 60 rounds if not more, i don't think you wind yours enough maybe or something, that goes for all of use with hi-caps on my team at least

I wind mine at least 10 times after loading in the mag, and it seems like I have to wind it up again after every 10 shots or so. If it stops firing, should I wind it just until it stops clicking or what?

if you go too far you will break the spring, and then you would have to fire your gun upside down or wind and shoot at the same time.  but that is hard to do, when you wind make sure the bb's go to the catch. then keep winding for a while after that so it will automaticly load. i've made my AK hi-cap shoot about half the mag w/out reloading before, and in a game wind the mag here and there like when you stop or before you ingage or something.

Got it. Too bad I think both my hi-caps are shit. That's why I plan on getting 4 or more CA or G&P low-caps because they work flawlessly.
