Game May 20 SWPB
« on: May 08, 2006, 11:56:32 AM »
May 20 Southwest Paintball Airsoft Games (2 – 7 pm)

Next games at SWPB are on Saturday May 20.  Remember to bring any old gear or guns you may want to sell.  We will be setting up a mini Airsoft SWAP meet.

We are also concluding the Airsoft Challenge at Southwest Paintball.  Players have a chance to compete for prizes (money and gear) in a tactical shooting competition.  All the rules will be explained at the game.   Here is a brief summary of the event.

Players will navigate a shooting obstacle course with limited ammunition
Players must hit targets before moving to the next obstacle
Upon completion of the course, a time will be recorded
Player with the lowest time at the end of the Airsoft Challenge (last day is May 20) will win a cash prize
Compete in the Airsoft Challenge on May 13, and 20th
Use any pistol or AEG (limit 30 BB’s)
Players may compete as many times as they want in an attempt to get the lowest time (each attempt for $1)

About Southwest Paintball
This is a great location for airsoft as it has seven fields featuring an old ghost town, a castle, pirate ship, and a giant field with towers and trenches. Minors are welcome to play at Southwest with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.  Take the opportunity to visit SoftAir Depot and get more information about the game.  There is a field fee of only $20 per player.  Visit www.southwestpaintball.com for directions and pictures of the field

There is a carpool available for the game ($5/person).  Carpool leaves SoftAir Depot at 9:00 am and returns at 8 pm.  Send a pm to get a space.

I'll be there +1, same as last time. (Actually, it was +2 last time, but that's not the point)  If I go pistol only, can I use my Sigma? ;)  Also, is there any sort of fee or anything for selling my stuff? I've got a bunch of stuff I'd  like to get rid of, although I'm not going to hold my breath.

There is not a fee for selling items at the Airsoft SWAP Meet.  As for the Sigma, if it chronos under 400 with .20's it will be fine.

Everyone be sure to bring water and sun screen.  In June all games will begin 8 am as there will not be any paintball played at the field all summer.
