G&G M14 VERSION ONE OR TWO?
« on: October 19, 2006, 08:16:12 PM »
Does anyone know how to tell if a g&g m14 is a version one or version two?  This one is about a year old, and I'm not sure which it is.  No paperwork is available.

Thanks...

The version one trigger pull is alot stronger and should be really hard, the version 2 has a standard tirgger full like a m4 would.

Well, does it destroy itself internally every 10000 rounds?  Is the trigger getting harder and harder to pull?  Other then that there really isnt any way to tell... Especially if its the OD Stock...

I'd say get it, if its a Version 1 then there are some pretty cheap fixes for the problems stated above.  I'd say its worth it especially if its never been used.

He said he used it twice.  He put in a madbull tight bore and a madbull bucking in it.  it comes with 5 mags and a battery.  good price too.

I think so yes... Provided you can provide them with the unique serial number...  If not its pretty cheap to replace the troublesome parts.  If its a good price then I'd say buy it!  It is afterall coming with everything you need to start off with it (mags and all)

G&G is giving Dean at softair a v2 for his v1 m14. This only works if the gun is stock wich means no upgrades.
