What are the odds of surviving that?

That would probably be one of the worst ways to die because you're just watching your own death come at you a couple hundred mph.

I have to say that to survive that and then decide to keep doing it is stupid.  Why push your luck?

Same Reason The Guy Who Survives a Plane Crash Goes Out and Flies Again!  The odds are Astronomical that it would even happen the first time let alone it happening again!
