Quick question

for you guys who have tan painted guns, did you guys do that yourselves, or do they sell like that? If you do it yourselves, then where do you buy the paint?

They sell camo paint, that's supposed to last quite awhile.

Also most of the airsoft reatilers sell tan colored grips, stocks, etc. You could also just go to any hardware store, and buy flat tan spray paint, but it will chip, and flake with time.

Isn't there an other spray paint that keeps spray paint of the item for a longer while.

Yeah, It's  called a clear coat...you spray it on after you spray the color. Just make sure you get a flat clear coat, otherwise it will make your gun shiny.

just buy Krylon camo series spray paint with fusion technology. It's readily available at Ace Hardware and other places. It bonds very well to plastic and is easy to reapply if necessary. It doesn't require a clear coat.

Just remember to follow the instructions on handling and drying time between coats.

+1 I learned how to paint from Ron its really not that hard to do. As mentioned all you have to do is follow the instructions you can't mess it up. Here is what a good paintjob looks like.

Where did you get a short handguard for a M4/M203...did you just modify one for an M16?
