Maruzen APS L96 Scope
« on: June 01, 2007, 01:21:55 PM »
Ok, I want to get a scope for my new (well it is used but it is new to me!) APS L96. I went the the big 5 but they did not have a scope with scope rings even close to big enough for it to fit on the rail. I am thinking about the Leapers-3-9x50-Green-Mil-Dot-Scope, anyone know anything about it/ if I can get it from a store in AZ? Or is this to big of a scope to get etc. I was also  planning on getting the weaver full size scope mount and I am not sure if that will fit on the rail, both of them are in shortys accessories section. (Can not post link cause when I go into the website no matter what page I am on it does not change the URL.)

Exactly that one, with the "Weaver Full Size Scope Mount" instead of normal rings.

It seems like a decent scope for the price.  Really depends on how much you want to spend.  If that is the price range you are looking at then go for it.

I know it looks like a good scope but I want to know if that with the Weaver Mount will fit on the Maruzen. I have not found one ring set anywhere at a store that would fit the large weaver rail.

You can go buy a pair of Leupold rings at Walmart for it for like $12-15 that will work.

Any 30mm ring set will work.

Weaver will go on Picatinny. Picatinny will not go on Weaver.
