G36 MAG mags

I gotta crack em open and stretch the springs, but I can't for the life of me, get them to open.  There is a crack running down the middle (vertically) but no way to pry it apart.  Anyone?

Well... I don't have MAG mags, but I have had CA hicaps, and currently have STAR midcaps (which suck, btw), and they both work the same way... Take the screw out of the plate on the bottom, slide the plate off, pull the two halves apart.  Very easy.


Of course, MAG's might be entirely different, I don't know. :/

The mag mags are glued together. as far as I know there is no way to open them up.

It sure seems that way.  Brandon was the one who suggested I get them open and stretch the springs to help with the massive feeding problem.
