Protective vest... custom made? Any takers?
« on: July 13, 2007, 01:35:46 PM »
I know someone out here can sew something like this.  Go to http://officialswearhouse.com/product_d ... tem=PVS101

I need something like that made for me.  The reason why I don't want to buy from that store is they only have two models; regular and tall.  Both of which won't fit me, so I need a custom one made.  If anyone here is able to put something like this together, that'd be great.  All the padding is, is a thin foam and plastic over the heart.

I could, but for legal reasons I shouldnt.

It comes down to the armor inside, if you get hit and what I put in there dosent protect you, I am liable.

This should be in a PM anyway.

This isn't to provide protection against bullets, but 6oz vulcanized rubber discs, also known as hockey pucks, and sticks.

Bullets, pucks, or hits to the kidneys it dosent realy matter, I can't guarantee that my protective vest can stop any of those.

Doesn't matter to me, I'll sign waivers galore.  Anything is better than what I'm currently wearing, which is an under armour shirt and a turtle neck :D
