WTF is going on here? Can somebody pleas PLEASE tell me what happened this weekend? I leave my computer for three days, and the nutters come out of the woodwork. What happened?

I noticed most of the 600+ users registered are spam or unused accounts. I don't think the admins do much to stop it though?

I just looked at almost all the accounts that had birthdays today, and 97% of them are spam accounts. Its actually kinda sad. I flle like Im in the twilight zone. Anyway, enough of that, back to what happened this weekend. Why was I not sent a threatening PM by this guy that everybody else already hates? What the hell was all his posting about? I red it, and started laughing, but had to stop, because I wasnt sure if it was a serious person, or somebody screwing around on here.  :?:

Don't worry about it, it was just someone who thought it would be entertaining to start a conversation with himself using two different user accounts.  When confronted he started sending out PMs to those who confronted him or said anything he found upsetting threatening to find them at games and do them harm etc etc etc.

Staff has the matter in hand anad has taken appropriate action.

As far as spambots, nothing that can be done about that, the 10 posts before you can start your own thread rules nukes them for the most part (though it does make the membership list hard to search).
