I thought about that. My dad says it is too far a drive though, and 1/2 their missions are for 18 and up. But yeah good suggestion if I hadn't already asked my parents about it. Since I got mostly what I needed to answer my question, can anyone answer these questions:

If an airsoft sniper shoots 500 fps using .2 gram bbs, and our team's fps limit is 410, should we make a stand-off distance for him if he is going to use .2 gram bbs? And how heavy would he have to go to bring his fps limit down to our team's limit? Will the heavier bb lessen the damage done to skin, increase it, or will the heavier bb not even affect the damage done at all?

The danger is there no matter what the weight of the BB. Safety is determined by the amount of energy that is delivered, joules. A .20 BB fired at 400FPS has the same energy as a .25 fired at 366 FPS, or around there.

Just because you put a heavier BB in a sniper rifles to lower the FPS, it delivers the same power. To make the gun legal you have to lower the spring strength or he amount of gas firing through.

Here is where we used to play on the Verdy River in Cottonwood before we moved our main field to Granite Dells just outside Prescott. It is what everyone around Cottonwood calls shady stream, great place to play. We have cheked with the Cottonwood City Counsil and the Cottonwood Police, and they have no problem with us playing anywhere but in the parks because the Yavipai County law states that any air powered aperatus is not be operated within 500 feet of any park or building. Which is why we play  down on the river, because we can dig up the ground and make fox holes and stuff like that witout people bitching haha. (Note the police and city officials said it is ok for minors to play airsoft as long as their is a waiver typed out and signed with everyones signature, as well as the parents)

I will post some more photos hopfully this weekend to show our forts and such. but as far as the location it is below the bridge on Mingus where the verdy river passes under in Cottonwood. If you would like to come play with us we might be able to set up a date where we meet.
